March Newsletter
Hello Everyone,
Going into our third month of the year already, and thanks to a lot of time and services provided by our volunteers’ things are slowly but surely improving. We still have a long ways to go though. But as always if we pull together we will come out ahead.
Membership has been very slow. Our goal is 454 and we are at 327. If your membership card does not say 2010 then your dues are not up to date. We really need to work on this as a post and if anybody has any ideas for a membership drive, I’m all ears.
Congratulations to the S.A.L. for surpassing their goal by two members. The Auxiliary needs only 21 members from making their goal. Well Legionnaires we talk the talk, time to walk the walk. I know that each one of us can either encourage someone to update his or her membership or recruit at least one eligible member. There are membership applications in our clubroom or ask any officer and they’ll help you out.
Remember to always check your calendars and bulletin boards for things coming up. Keep all our troops in your prayers and phone a buddy you haven’t heard from in a while.
